After courting Indian actresses, “Who’s the slimmest” has now affected Mobile handset manufacturers. LG brought the Optimus Black which is 9.2mm thick, while Samsung counter-attacked them with Samsung Galaxy S II which is 8.9mm thick.
Now, NTT DoCoMo’s NEC has brought MEDIAS N-04C – the slimmest Android handset till date. The N-04C is just 7.7mm thick (or should we call thin? ) and runs on Android 2.2 a.k.a Froyo. Besides that, it comes with 4-inch WVGA touchscreen display, NFC, and 1Seg TV tuner. The device will be available in Japan this week for an unknown (yet) price. Unfortunately NEC won’t be launching the handset outside Japan but this surely shows what to expect in near future.
